The German Embassy in Kiev advises all visa applicants in Ukraine on the process
of applying for a Schengen Visa (Short Term Including Visit of Family and
Friends/ Business & Transit) to submit their visa applications to the
German Embassy in Kiev, only with a prior appointment.
The German Embassy Kiev will issue visa to clients who:

reside permanently in Ukraine (for a minimum intended stay of at least 6
months)

require a visa to enter Germany
The German Embassy Kiev will not issue visa to Ukrainian citizens who live
permanently outside of Ukraine. Please contact the German Mission in your
country of residence.
Excluded from the necessity to book appointments through the call
center/website are:

Applicants for visa with an expected stay of more than 90 days (D-type visa, e.
g. student visa, family reunion, internship, au-pair, long-term language
course, work), please turn directly to the German Embassy, wul. Bohdana

groups of 6 or more persons with the same travel purpose and the same duration
of stay
-
travellers in emergency cases (e. g. but not limited to: funeral, urgent
medical treatment)

scientists by invitation of a German university, DAAD and other official

There is a Contact Centre Service Charge of Euro 5 (Inclusive of VAT) for this
service per applicant which is payable in Hryvnia. This is independent of the
applicable Visa Fees.
The Service Charge needs to be paid before you schedule an appointment.
The Service Charge is not refundable and payable in cash at any of the branches
of PromInvestbank. Please go to www.pib.com.ua
